TFF Update

Monday's trip was cancelled due to the strong winds, and yesterday my guest and I waited till noon before heading out with hopes it would warm up some but that didn't happen, only a few degrees warmer to go along with a very slow bite. Working mostly deeper water with Reeves weedless jigs tipped with large fatheads, we found some active eyes relating to the wood in 20 plus feet of water, the only problem is that they were all small ones and thrown back. We did try some wind blown shorelines and no action there at all. We then spent some time just vertical jigging over deep wood again and did catch one decent eye and one big crappie but that was it, both fish were put back at days end with higher hopes for better results today.
