The Madison Metropolitan Sewer District is putting together a proposal to re-build their pump station at the entrance to the park – which is mostly underground – and re-build it above ground. The attached brochure shows a schematic of what it may look like. As a part of the proposal they are considering adding amenities to the structure that may benefit the boating public such as more restrooms or possibly a fish cleaning station (although at their last meeting with the MMSD Commission the restroom option was looked upon as too expensive).
The fishing and boating public are more than welcome to join us at the meeting. If you have any more questions, feel free to call
