With a good stiff SW wind blowing Friday, my 3 guests and I spent our half day trip using 1/16th ounce Reeves weedless jigs tipped with 1/2 crawler and worked nothing but shallow weeds and wood. Wanting to get enough fish for a big fish fry, we concentrated our efforts in 1-1/2 feet to 5 feet depths and came up with 4 real nice eyes and a good number of perch and bluegills. Happy anglers with enough fish for a couple of fish fry's.
Back out today, not sure what to expect with high 80's for temps and light and variable winds, will keep you posted.
