Not a whole lot to report on the walleye front as the bite continues to be slow. Fish are very scattered, it's not the case of one here and one there, it's like lets hope there is one there. Been getting a few each day, some from 6 to 8 foot around submerged wood and others around sharp breaks around rocks, just no pattern. Crappies on the other hand are making up for the slow walleye bite as many 11 to 14 inchers are being taken on 1/16th ounce Reeves weedless jigs tipped with medium fatheads. Vertical jigging over deep brush piles and cribs are the ticket here.
Open schedule the rest of this week, will put a few crappies in my freezer for a change.
