Chuck from Rome booked a morning trip on "Pete" for this morning and brought his friend Tim from Tampa Florida along. the wind was pretty stiff out of the NW and it was difficult to position the boat along the break on the buoy line to pull flies. We did boat a few along with some white bass, and Tim caught his first walleye. Then we opted to try some trolling. We boated a few shorties and then the wind died right down to almost nothing, so we put the trolling gear away and went back on the break and started pulling flies again. Well, the whole bite seemed to die right along with the wind. We ended the day with 14 "shorties", 1 in the slot, 1 blue gill, and 3 white bass. ;)
