TFF Update

Thursdays half day trip was not one to brag about, not only nasty weather but also a very slow bite. Dealing with 53 degree temps, on and off rain showers and NW winds, my guest and I found 2 very nice eyes in 6 feet of water around submerged wood on Reeves weedless jigs tipped with large fatheads, these 2 eyes were all that we came up with along with 2 jumbo perch and a pike. Fridays walleye action was not to be, my guest and I tried some deep wood and a good number of mid lake humps and came up empty, normally these humps produce some good catches with a south wind but not to be. We then switched to 1/16th ounce Reeves weedless jigs tipped with a two inch piece of crawler and hit some cribs and ended our morning trip with 17 big gills and 3 crappie.

Back out on Monday, will keep you posted.
