TFF Update

Monday greeted my two guests and I with fall like conditions, 50 degrees, strong winds mixed in with off and on misty conditions had us dressed in winter apparel topped off with rain gear, not August weather to me. Fishing action wasn't great but we did put some nice eyes in the boat by fishing in 17 foot deep river channels with 1/8th ounce Reeves jigs tipped with medium fatheads. We worked mostly the areas with some type of structure such as rocks/brush and not only got our walleyes there but also a couple of big crappie. Looking to put a couple of future fish fry's in the well we then moved to some cribs and vertical jigged them with 1/16th ounce weedless jigs tipped with a 2 inch piece of crawler and came up with a nice catch of big crappies and bluegills.

Back out today for a morning trip, will keep you posted.
