TFF Update

The past two days not only saw a total turnaround in the weather but the fishing action also. Wednesdays half day trip went pretty good as my 2 guests and I worked a series of cribs with 1/16th ounce Reeves weedless jigs tipped with medium fatheads and ended up with 6 nice eyes along with 14 big crappie and 1 jumbo perch. Thursday wasn't as productive as warmer weather set in along with totally flat water, for some reason this really shut down the fish activity on the cribs, my 2 guests and I did manage to find 4 big crappie but no eyes were in them. We done a lot of bouncing around during our half day trip and it wasn't till the last hour of our trip that we found 6 eyes on top of a 14 foot deep rock ledge, just never know where you are going to find them. Water out there yesterday looked like someone poured green paint all over, couldn't see your jig a foot below the surface.

Back out on Saturday, will keep you posted.
