The last week of Muskie fishing has been the best of the season. We've been catching at least one Musky on almost every trip out, several fish have been hooked and lost, and to top it all off some of our catches have been 45" plus with the biggest a beautiful 47"!! The best areas to fish have been around islands and points as well as shorelines with plenty of downed wood, most of the fish are holding in 4-6' of water. On the area lakes the deepest weeds are still holding the majority of the Muskies with rock piles holding some fish as well. Fish have been hitting several different lure styles, top water, buck tails, crank baits, and bull dawgs have all been producing so don't be afraid to try switching lures if the one you're using isn't working. Looks like great weather for the holiday weekend. Good Luck!!
