Fishing action on Friday and Saturday remained pretty good as my guest and I fished only the morning hours and faired well on both walleye and crappie on Friday and mostly all crappie on Saturday. Vertical jigging cribs along with deep stumps with 1/16th ounce Reeves weedless jigs tipped with medium fatheads worked the best for us. Crappies for the most part were caught 12 to 18 inches off the bottom as were the walleye, the vast majority of crappie were suspended over these areas and would not touch a minnow.
