Finally replaced the head gasket on the SS Finn Lander after it blew during the Brew City tournament.
Went out Saturday afternoon to give the boat a test and to do a little bit of fishing. Everything worked well and the fishing was ok too. In a little over 2.5 hours of fishing we went 4 for 5 on nice red fin lake trout working 65 fow east of the green can. 150 copper with a bloody nose spoon and a 7 color lead core with a blue/green spoon did all of the work. Nothing on the dipseys or riggers.
Biggest was 14.1 pounds and the rest were 12 pounders.
One boat in the area had 3 coho off of 10 color lead core with spoons and one on a brads bait.
