Are the headlocks all they're cracked up to be? I've got a couple to try later this month.

Have heard good things about them, but have no personal experience. Sure hard to take a Jake off (not Jack).
With all the scuttlebutt I'm hearing about these, won't be long before the fish are conditioned to them.

Last I saw two days ago was hitting 54 degrees. Fishing a bit hit and miss with the weather, but pretty good overall.

Is the trolling bite picking up any? I thought maybe the front moving in would get things moving up there.

Don't know. Everyone is pretty much gone. Was out over last weekend with Cale. Seeing reasonable numbers, but no monsters. The last two weeks we had customers, we saw some 48s & 49s, but for the first time in history, zero bell ringers for the trolling period. Water temps are still in the 40s, and I'll get out over the next few weeks by myself, but overall a very strange year.

Just goes to prove if you give a chimpanzee a Go Pro, eventually something will come out. However, I have to admit, pretty cool video..........................

Highly suspect group n operation. While the scenery looked somewhat familiar the graph up front was 'reading' Lake Minnetonka.

Very strange year up there for trolling ? Where were the big girls?? Tried deep, medium and shallow lots of fish but no fall brutes!! Caught a record number of 28 ish" to 36 ish" fish so that is good for the future but where are the big girls again !! Out suspended maybe ?
This is bothering the heck out of me just wish I had more time to try to figure it out !

We were going to add drone footage, but our International Aircraft Permit Request was denied. When we indicated that we would be operating out of BSC, we were accused of consorting with a known miscreant. Huh...

The only drone you'll operate is a guy named Doug Green.

Ponder the wisdom of fishing muskies with a guy named 'Pikebob'.

I trolled for a week in Sabaskong Bay with the water temperature mid 40's, and it was pretty slow. Lots of pike on the Headlocks with only a few muskies for the week. I never tried deeper water, not that there is much real deep water in Sabaskong.

I suspect that they where extremely lucky. Had a cabin in Whitefish for 25 years and the muskie population is around 1/4 of the Angle or Sabaskong. Trolling deep water doesn't work in dark water areas!
