10/4/15 Delavan Lake, cloudy, 45 degrees, E winds at 25 mph, water temp 63 degrees. We caught 2 northern pike, 1 walleye and 24 bass. The best depth was 12-14 ft of water. The fish were caught on small suckers fished on slip bobber or a split shot rig nightcrawlers. The main lake points, with the wind, seemed to produce the most fish. While reeling in a bass, one pike decided it was a good time to eat the bass being reeled in, we had well over twenty five game fish caught in just over four hours, with strong howling winds, and two foot whitecaps! I can not express in words how impressed, I am with my new Warrior Boat, Minn Kota, and Tiller Anti Torque setup, it makes getting to, or staying on the fish simple, and much safer! On windy days like this a Technic used a lot is to increase my boat's weight by filling my live wells full and adding my anchors. The added weight will slow the boats pitch and roll from waves.
