Chuck from Jackson, Wi booked a trip for this morning with his friends Dan, and Al. We launched at Chester Creek at 7 am and the temperature reading in my truck was 24 degrees. We had a strong south wind so we decided pull cranks instead of holding a rod. We pulled Shad Raps, Flicker Shads, Wally Divers, and Reef Runners and finished at noon with 7 "keepers", and 10 "shorties. This may be the last trip of the year looking at the weather forecast for the next ten days. I guess I will change the oil and lower unit lube in the Yamaha so it's ready for spring and get the UTV ready for ice fishing and snow plowing. This was a great way to end the season with 7 nice keepers, really looks like 2016 may be a good year. Have a great Thanksgiving and Christmas and as always:
Keep a tight line!!!
