[Jerry Tipping]

I had two groups of two out on "The Rock" this morning. John from DeForrest, Wisconsin and his friend Duane, and Chase and Tiffany from from Winfield, Illinois. We jigged and soaked dead rods around submurged timber on the river channel edges in 15-19 feet of water. We were set-up by 7 am, and when I left them at noon we had 16 crappies on the ice and a bunch of "shorties". Dead rods tipped with minnows did most of the damage.:cool:
