Hit the river for the first time this morning. Launched at 6:30, it 21 degrees and foggy. The fog was so dense in spot that it took me almost 40 minutes to get to Chester's Creek. They have the right and left gates open so there is a lot of current, and a lot of debris floating. Tried pulling cranks, but it was hard to keep them free of grass and leaves. Went down to Brown's Creek and jigged while soaking a dead rod as I slipped the current. Worked that area for maybe two hours before calling it a day a little after 11. Finished with 17 "shorties", and 1 23" slot fish. Water temp was only 31.3 at the start of the day.

Keep a tight line!!!
