[Jerry Tipping]

Put the boat in by Buckhorn this morning. What a nice morning to be out, little to no wind at all. Water temp when I launched at 7:30 was 40.9, and when I left at 1 pm it was 46.3, still pretty cool but that will change by the end of the week with the warm weather we have coming. Worked the wood with jigs and dead rods tipped with minnows. In the first twenty minutes I boated 2 "keepers", one at 15.25 and one at 17.5 and 4 "shorties. I thought : this is going to be a good morning, but it went down hill from there. The rest of the morning only produced 2 more "shorties, and 1 big white bass. Things should be picking up real soon.
