Bill, Jason, and Mike from the Chicago area joined me on "The Rock" this morning. A little cloudy and had one little rain shower move through that lasted about 5 minutes. Water temps was 61 when we started at 7 am and when we finished at noon it was 65. Started the day jigging and soaking dead rods with minnows but it was pretty slow. Tried bobbers in the Little Yellow for about 20 minutes with nothing to show for it so we put the planer boards and cranks in the water to finish the day. Ended with 18 "shorties", 6 crappies, 3 white bass, and 1 northern. Not a bad morning, but the bite should really start to improve as the water temps rise. :cool:
