TFF Update

Wednesday greeted my two guests and I with clear blue sky's and very light and variable breezes through out the day, not the kind of walleye chop you always hope for. Figuring the eyes would be deep on days like this we started out and ended the day in 15 to 18 feet of water over scattered submerged wood. Using Reeves weedless jigs tipped with either large fatheads or 1/2 crawler, we worked these areas slowly back and forth and came up with our limits of quality eyes along with 13 nice jumbo perch. Not a great bite by any means, we really had to work for our fish, slow moving and sometimes dragging your jig over the bottom was the ticket to getting a fish.
