TFF Update

Saturday greeted my two guests and I with yet another clear blue sky and very little breeze to start the day. Starting in 16 feet of water over scattered submerged wood, we boated a small musky on our first stop with a Reeve weedless jig tipped with a large fathead, that was it for that spot but the next area produced some nice eyes along with a few jumbo perch, most of these fish were taken with 1/2 crawler. We then tried a few wind blown shore lines as the wind had picked up and found only smallie action. Moving on, we then worked 6 to 7 foot of water loaded with lots of submerged wood and here we came up some nice eyes along with more jumbo perch. After that action died down, we switched to lighter jigs and worked shallow weeds and found more perch action along with crappie and another eye, all in all a pretty good day.

Back out this afternoon for a late half day trip, will keep you posted.
