Greg from Chicago booked a morning trip on "The Rock" for today. We started the morning sitting in my truck at the ramp for two hours until a big thunderstorm cell passed through. Some thunder, lightning, and heavy down pours. It finally passed about 8 am so we hit the water. Jigged and soaked dead rods in two places with a handful of "shorties" to show for our efforts. Tried in the little yellow for crappies on slip bobbers and boated 1 along with 1 "shortie", and 1 nice catfish. Put the planer boards in and pulled cranks and finished the day at 1 pm with a total of 2 "keepers", 19 "shorties, 2 crappies,2 white bass,1 catfish, and 1 sheep head. :) Not a bad finish by the way the morning started.
