[Jerry Tipping]

Dan and Trish joined me for a morning trip on "The Rock" today. Started off the day jigging and soaking dead rods with minnows on mid-lake humps and had "shorties" on right away. The wind started to blow so we moved into Buckhorn bay near the mouth of the Little Yellow and couldn't get anything going there either on jigs so we put the boards and cranks in the water and trolled the rest of the morning. The bite was pretty slow until about 10:30 when someone flipped the switch and the bite started to improve. We had one big cat on that was easily over 10 pounds, but she made that big roll and was gone. We finished the day with 18 "shorties", 1 "keeper" 1 crappie, and 2 white bass. ;)
June is starting to fill up, so if you would like to get out the open dates that are left are: 8th, 9th, 12th, 18th, 19th, 21st-30th.
