Tuesday greeted my 2 guests and I with yet another miserable morning with very cool temps, light mist and fairly strong north winds. Anchoring just off a sharp break, we pitched Reeves weedless jigs tipped with fatheads onto submerged rock piles mixed with stumps and came up empty, our next move was back to the landing to put on our rain gear just for a wind break because the winds had picked up. We then tried wind blown shore lines to no avail so we decided to spend the rest of our morning trip working deeper water (15 ft ),can't say the action picked up a lot, but my guests managed to boat a couple of nice eyes, as for me, not a bite.
Back out today for panfish and hopefully a walleye along the way, will keep you posted.
