Monday greeted my two guests and I with ESE winds, cooler temps with cloudy and misty sky's, not typical walleye weather but no one told them that. We started out working in wind blown bays and points in 6 to 8 feet of water with Reeves weedless jigs tipped with either large fatheads or 1/2 crawler and found active walleye on our very first stop. Working similar spots during the course of the day produced some nice eyes on most of them, and almost all the fish were taken on fatheads. At days end, we boated a total of 16 eyes, 3 pike and a little smallie.
