Craig from California had his second of 3 trips this week this morning. We were planning on going out on the lake for some jigging but when I turned the corner onto Bighorn Drive going to the County Park I quickly changed my mind. White caps were breaking hard against the shoreline. There was a huge storm with very high winds that went through the area early last evening and toppled a lot of trees onto homes along the lake again. We opted to go back to Chester's Creek and troll the river. With all the rain we have been having WRPCO has had some gates open periodically so I thought maybe with some increased current flow the fish might be bit more active. We trolled from near Chester's all the way up just past the boat launch down from Nekoosa. We pulled #7 Shad Raps, Wally Divers, Flicker Shads, and Hornets. We boated 6 "keepers", over 20 "shorties", 1 crappie, 2 cat, and a few sheep’s head. :cool:
