TFF Update

Greeted with very strong WNW winds on Monday, my 2 guests and I decided to go out of our way to try and avoid the big waves and this move paid off big time. Using Reeves weedless jigs tipped with large fatheads, 1/2 crawler, or leeches, we spent the day working nothing deeper than 5 foot of water over and around weeds. Not fast action, but one here and one there of mixed species. At days end, we boated a total of 8 keeper eyes out of 11 boated, 3 keeper smallies, 2 crappie and 3 perch and lots of small pike. By far, the best bite was on the fatheads and the leeches scored very poor.

Back out on Wednesday, will keep you posted.
