Muskie fishing has been pretty good the last couple of weeks. We've had warm somewhat stable weather and the Muskie bite has been as consistent as it has all season. Mid lake rock bars, flats, islands, and points that drop off to deep water have all been holding fish. Top water and buck tails with a medium to fast retrieve have been working well. On the clearer lakes in the area fish are holding on the deepest weeds you can find 12-15' or deeper. Bulldawgs and deep diving crankbaits work the best for getting down to these fish. As usual focus on the wind blown areas to find the active fish. Good Luck!!
