TFF Update

Back out on Saturday and Sunday for two morning trips and the action was pretty good. My two guests and I were greeted by clear blue sky's and no wind on Saturday so we decided to try deeper water first and that paid off. Working 12 feet of water over wood with Reeves weedless jigs tipped with 1/2 crawlers, we found a good mix of walleye and jumbo perch and after a couple of hours working these areas we had 7 nice eyes and 4 jumbo perch. As the winds picked up some, we moved into shallow weeds and found some nice gills along with a couple of nice smallies but too big to keep. Sunday's action was about the same except for the deep bite, only 1 eye and zero perch. We then moved into the shallow weeds and worked them thru out the morning and we boated 10 eyes, 5 of which were nice keepers, 2 smallies, 3 gills and 2 smallies. Both good mornings of fishing action.

Back out tomorrow for another half day trip, will keep you posted.
