Monday's action started out on the slow side and pretty much remained that way during the morning hours. My guest and I started out vertical jigging a few cribs with Reeves weedless jigs tipped with a small piece of crawler and we came up empty. We then worked weedy shorelines with a mix of scattered wood and we managed to boat only 5 walleye, 3 of which were good keepers along with 2 jumbo perch and 2 smallmouth, 1 keeper and 1 throwback. Worked other structures and came up empty there also. Tough morning.
Back out for another morning trip today, will keep you posted.
