Red,

Do you get any water conditions reports thru the year? I'm just curious cause I have a heck of a time finding water temps for lakes. The only one that I can usually get consistently is for Raystown. I'm curious because my bro and I are trying to plan a trip to Chautauqua in September. I just don't wanna be up there if the temps are running warm and/or the bloom is in full force. This weather has Raystown running close to mid-80s 10-15 ft down right now. Gonna take a while for temps like that to cool.

The last time I fished was on Chautauqua and we saw surface temps of 81.3 by late afternoon and decided to quit. It was 77 when we started that morning but the temps have dropped to safe ranges this week.

For ACE controlled reservoirs, try this link:

This is where I get my real time temps for the Rez and river. You will have to navigate the site and set your own viewable parameters for each waterway. Hopefully, this works for you.

Awesome, thanks Red. Thats good to hear about Chautauqua. We still have a few weeks before we are thinking of heading up there, so hopefully the trend goes toward cooler temps.

Hey Jay.....Were you able to get the information you needed from the USGS link?

Red,

So far so good. Been slowly picking up different pieces of water from that site to keep an eye on. Thanks again.
