[Jerry Tipping]

Steve from Coloma, and his friend Dave from Oshkosh joined me for a morning on "Pete". A stiff breeze out of the SW most of the morning made fishing mid-lake humps out of the question so we headed south near the dike to get on some flatter water if we could. We worked dead rods and jigs tipped with magnum fat-heads around timber, and trolled the face of the dike. We had a few sprinkles before we finished at 11:30 with 1 "keeper", well over 30 "shorties", 1 crappie, 2 white bass, 1 sheep's head, 2 channel cat, and 2 nice flat head cat. :cool:
