Sunday and Monday's action came once again from big panfish, crappies and bluegills were taken from deep brush piles, stumps and cribs. Crappies for the most part were taken on 1/16th ounce Reeves weedless jigs tipped with Gulp or small white twister tails while the majority of the gills came on small two inch pieces of crawler. The deep stumps that were on sharp break lines held some of the bigger gills. Most all of the numerous fish we caught both days were relating no more than a foot off the bottom.
No scheduled trips till Saturday so it will be scouting time for walleye as the water temps continue to drop and this will spur some walleye movement, will keep you posted.
