John from Hartland, Wi, and his brother-in-law Russ booked a trip for today on "Pete". Cloudy and a bit breezy when we launched , and the weatherman was predicting a 5% chance of rain. Well they missed it again. We weren't out very long when the west shore started to look a little hazy and I lost sight of the big hill in Necedah. The guy's seen the report and left their rain gear in the garage so I broke-out everything I had on hand to a least keep our shoulders dry. The hard rain only lasted about 2 hours, then was on and off drizzle. It didn't seem to bother the fish much, because we ended with about 30 "shorties", 4 "keepers", and a dozen and a half big white bass.
