John and his wife Amy booked a morning trip for today. They were traveling to the Twin Cities to watch the Ryder Cup Championship this weekend and decided they would like to spend a few hours fishing on the way. The weather god's were not in our corner for most of the morning, sending strong north winds of 15 mph plus. We managed to get tucked in behind Longview Point where it was a bit more calm. We jigged and soaked dead rods tipped with minnows and night crawler Chunks along the channel edges, and on a very small hump that topped off at 13 feet with 20+ on both sides. We boated about 15 "shorties", 1 nice slot walleye, 1 big blue gill, three nice perch, and 1 cat. We also lost a few more perch at boat side. Photos in the album.
