Rob from Elgin,Il booked a morning trip on "Pete" for this morning. He has friends coming from Texas and California next weekend and wanted to learn a few spots and presentations to use during their stay. We started the morning with the pan-fish rods tipped with red worms to see if we could pick up a few blue gills. Caught 1 perch, some small walleyes, 8 gills, and kept 6 from 7 1/2- 9 1/2 inches. Moved to a channel edge and jigged and soaked dead rods tipped with minnows and boated about 30 more "shorties", 2 "Keepers", 1 nice perch, and a few white bass. :cool: The 5th, 6th, and 7th are open next week.
