I saw several fly-chuckers over the weekend hunting Esox with a local guy popping a 50.5 musky on Friday and only a few more fish caught over a 2-day period. It was a pretty tough bite for most all species over the weekend and other than the tournament contestants, there were very few boats around.
We chased everything but musky and pike and did a poor job creating any action! 2 bass and 1 pike in 2 days of fishing but we had a nice musky swipe at a bass bait on Saturday which provided a thrill for Kelly.
Water is still pretty low but clarity is good, probably too good. Water warmed up a little over the weekend which seemed to slow the Fall fish movements.
