Brett and his son Zach from Iowa City, Iowa joined me for a morning on "Pete". A nice mild start to the day, light winds a a little overcast. We worked jigs and dead rods on the sharp break along the buoy line in 13-19 feet of water tipped with large fat-heads and half a crawler, then put the boards in the water for a short time. We finished with over 35 "shorties", 2 "keepers", 6 white bass, 2 blue gills, and 1 northern. The next ten day outlook is for lows in the 40's and highs in the 50's and 60's. Great weather for some late fall fishing. water temp was 56 when we started and 58 at the end of the trip.

Keep a tight line!!!

Jerry ;)
