I spent a beautiful November morning out on "The Rock" on Monday. 44 degrees at 8 am when I launched at the County Park, and 59 when I got off at noon. I worked flies tipped with minnows and crawlers along a mid-lake channel edge for an hour and a half and boated 13 "shorties", 1 18 inch "keeper", 1 crappie, and 1 cat. I spent the rest of the time searching out ice-fishing locations for the upcoming hard water season. I hope to get out on "Pete" at least one more time this month and do the same. Still some great fishing left before ice-up if anyone would like to get out.
Keep a tight line!!!
