Monday Ray and I had our 3rd day 8 hour day with with the group from West Bend, but we were down to 4 people. We fished "The Rock" this time for a little change. Pete, and Bill were with Ray, and Paul and his son Beau were in my boat. We started jigging and soaking dead rods in 17-18 fow with minnows and crawlers, but they did not want much to do with the worms. The bite was very fast with fish on both rods many times, I almost lost a jig rod while handling the dead rod with a fish on. We boated 3 "keepers", 2 catfish,, and more "shorties" than you could shake a rod tip at. Ray's group had 1 slot fish and a bunch of "shorties" as well. Our boat ran out of minnows so we went back in by Buckhorn and set up trolling, and Ray set up on the main lake in front of Dellwood to troll the main lake. They boated 2 "keepers", 2 more in the slot, and 2 white bass. We only added 1 crappie to the live well and had some more shorts. The trolling bite was really slow, to say the least. Back on "Pete" for Tuesday.
