We fished the past two mornings on "Pete". Friday, Don from Monroe, and Dave from Darlington joined me. We mostly jigged and soaked dead rods in 3 different spots and boated a lot of "shorties", and a couple white bass. We put the planer boards in the water and trolled cranks for a short time and finished with 2 "keepers", and more "shorties".
Today Paul from Sharon and Jerry from Darien joined me. Along with my wife Kay, we all started working together almost 40 years ago, and for the most part it lasted 30 years or more. We trolled cranks all morning and just talked about the past. We haven't seen each other in ten or more years so a lot of BS'ing went on. Today we boated 21 walleyes, with 5 "keepers", 1 perch, and one white bass. With a clear sky, and no winds to speak of, the bite really slowed by 11 am.
Keep a tight line!!!
Jerry ;)
