Muskie chasing on river

Been out on alleghany couple times in last 2 weeks and havent seen a fish...had a big smallmouth hit a Muskie lure only fish Ive seen...What type of baits have you been seeing any action on for Muskie? You fishing deep or shallow? Fish I did contact on Mon week and half ago were all sitting super shallow tight to shore

We are using a variety of baits. Your temporary lack of action is likely due to location or fish inactivity. Try to fish around moving water (oxygenation) or areas with cooler water entering the river down your way. Our temps are always 'fishable' this far North.
