We hunted muskies yesterday under some very optimistic weather conditions only to be shut out. We saw 1 decent pike all day. Water temps still high for October at 66-67 degrees. Dying weeds/floating leaves are increasing each week as well.

We spent parts of 3 days out also. Ended up with a few Pike and thats about it. Water temps still right around 70 and pretty murky compared to normal. Of all the fish that we moved, there is only one that I am about 95% sure that it was a Musky. The rest were Pike and pickerel. Either the Musky were still deep, or they just weren't in the mood. This never ending summer crap needs to stop and hopefully soon. I'm guessing it will be mid-late November before I try to get another trip planned. I still want some shots at the big girls this year.
