Nick booked a morning trip on "The Rock" for Monday. He recently purchased a Lund and had a new Humminbird Helix 9, and Minn Kota Terrova mounted. He wanted help setting them up, and instruction on how to interpret the display on the locator, and get familiar with the functions of the trolling motor, so we fished out of his boat today. We hopped around to four different locations so he could get a few GPS locations to try. We soaked dead rods and jigged for a while in each location, but the bite was slow with only "shorties" and 1 crappie to show for it, but the main point of the trip was instructional. :cool:
