Chris and his family are enjoying a get-together at Three Bears Lodge in Warrens for the week and booked a trip for himself, Sherman, and Sherman's son Sam on Pete for this morning. Stiff breeze again out of the northwest, and at times even the 60 inch shaft on the bow-mount popped out of the water. We soaked dead rods and jigged the entire time. 10 year old Sam had never caught a walleye before, and he boated the first one, a nice 25" slot fish. Sherman his dad also had never caught a walleye before, and he boated one over 25". We finished with a bunch of "shorties", 1 "keeper", 5 in the slot, 1 perch, 4 nice size white bass, 1 big catfish, and a sheep's head. :cool:
