Tuesdays half day trip with my two guests turned out to be not that bad as we had pretty good action in most spots we fished. Working submerged wood over 8 to 12 feet of water produced the most walleye for us as compared to shallow wood and weeds. Using 1/16th ounce Reeves weedless jigs tipped with 1/2 crawlers, we found the eyes to be very scattered but all pretty much in the same type of structure, just no concentration of fish in any certain spot. It was pretty much a walleye morning for us as we only boated a few perch and rockbass. Nice livewell of eyes for our half day of fishing.
