Dan and Vicki booked a morning trip on "Pete" for today. The weatherman missed his wind prediction for 5 mph out of the north east, it was more like 10-15 out of the north. It was hard to keep the prop on the Minn Kota in the water. We soaked dead rods and jigged with minnows and crawlers in 18-20 fow around timber and finished with about 15 "shorties", 5 "keepers", 1 crappie, 2 nice perch, 8 sheep's head, and 1 catfish. It was really hard to detect the bite with the boat bouncing in the 2-3 foot deep swells. :cool:
