Brett and Steve from Menominee Falls booked a morning trip on "Pete" for today. We launched at the County Park on the Adams side just as the rail was letting up, but the wind wasn't. It blew out of the north east all morning with swells and whitecaps up to 2 feet high. Had to keep the bow-mount prop in the water to hold position. Walleye's were biting, but not very aggressive after the fronts passed. Boated a bunch of "shorties" and only three "keepers" today. Most fish came on dead rods tipped with big minnows, and a few on jumbo leeches.
