Ed and Tom are spending a brother's weekend near Nekoosa and booked a morning trip for today. A cold start to the morning (39 degrees at 7 am) with a strong NNE wind which made for some big swells. We soaked dead rods tipped with Black-Tail Chubs near submerged wood in 17-22 fow to start and end the morning. We boated at least 30 short walleyes, some nice "keepers", two 24"+ slot fish, and some big 12 " white bass. Mid morning we tried shallow humps around brush with dead rods tipped with crawler chunks and jigged 1/32 ounce jigs and red-worms for pan fish, and added some blue gills, and more "shorties".
