We hunted for everything except the toothies this past weekend and did pretty well. Saturday was a much hotter bite than Sunday was for us. On Saturday, we caught bass pretty steadily all day long as the big rain front approached our area. We had at least 5 bass go over 20" and dozens of 16-20" class fish hit the net. Sunday was a much different story while dealing with the tremendous leaf-drop along the river. The highlight of Sunday was watching Dave catch his largest river walleye at 30.5 and just over 10 pounds. We also netted a couple of decent 'accidental' pike. River water was stained in the morning but cleaned up a little as the day progressed. It was evident these fish were much hotter as the front was approaching.
River temps are around 57.

Stay tuned and good luck!
