What a beautiful holiday weekend! Awesome weather and a large number of visitors supporting "Vilas County" and The Great State of Wisconsin!
Once again fished my home lake but, for some reason, poor results continue with little Perch (under 6 inches) and 1 little Pike. We moved to another lake and did very well, as these photos show. Several nice fish boated and several released. All fish on live bait today, no trolling. Shallow weeds continue to produce for us although, this is going to change rapidly as water temps continue to drop, quickly.
Trolling is finally working for a lot of fishermen this season as many methods, lures, "certain lakes" and newly discovered techniques are being explored and used with very positive results.
Day 4 for this group, awesome clients, always thankful, wanting to learn, always asking fishing questions and loving family fathers.
My hat goes off to you guys, God Bless Frank and Laz. Any guide would appreciate to have these men in there boat for 4 days in a row.
